This public dataset reproduces explicitly priced service records from active Seoul Beauty Trip provider profiles. It contains provider-by-provider listings only: no average, estimated, converted or market-wide price is added.

What you need to know
The current export contains 844 provider-listed price records from 12 active provider profiles across 5 recorded categories. These are exact listing records, not averages, estimates or a market sample.
Current dataset counts
These counts use the same qualification rule as the live export. The page and downloads are cached independently, so counts may briefly differ while one response refreshes. They are directory counts, not estimates of the Seoul market.
| Current export measure | Live count or date |
|---|---|
| Provider-listed price records | 844 |
| Active profiles with at least one qualifying price | 12 |
| Recorded provider categories represented | 5 |
| Recorded areas represented | 6 |
| Latest represented listing-record date | 2026-09-20 |
Calculated from active listing records. A recorded listing date may not reflect every menu edit and is not a source-verification date for each price.
Dataset scope and methodology
The export is generated from the current shops database when requested. It selects only provider records marked active with a non-empty canonical slug, then reads each stored service_prices item in its recorded order.
A row is included only when the stored item has a non-empty service name and a listed-price value containing a digit. Provider name, category, area, service name and listed-price text are reproduced from the active listing record. Prices are not converted to another currency or parsed into an assumed total.
Tax status is included or excluded only when that status is explicitly stored on the price item. Every missing, unsupported or unrecorded value is labeled unknown; the exporter does not infer tax treatment from the price or provider category.
Column definitions
CSV and JSON use the same nine record fields. Keep profile_url, listing_record_updated and scope_note when reusing individual rows so readers can inspect the source and its limitations.
- provider_name: provider name on the active directory record.
- category: category value on the active directory record.
- area: first recorded location segment; it is a directory label, not a geocoded boundary.
- service_name: service or package name on the stored price item.
- listed_price: the stored display string, preserved without averaging, conversion or estimation.
- tax_status: included, excluded or unknown, based on the stored menu status and scoped operator-confirmed VAT conditions for existing aesthetic-clinic listings. These conditions are not assumed for future providers.
- profile_url: canonical Seoul Beauty Trip provider-profile URL.
- listing_record_updated: recorded listing date field, falling back to its creation date; it may not reflect each menu edit and is not a price-verification date.
- scope_note: a repeated warning that each row is a provider listing and needs current confirmation.
Limitations
This is not a census, random sample, price index, affordability study or ranking. It covers only active Seoul Beauty Trip profiles with qualifying price objects and may include listed providers in nearby Korean areas as well as Seoul districts.
A listed price may apply to a package, quantity, session, starting option or branch-specific menu. Consultation, tax, materials, anesthesia, add-ons, eligibility and aftercare may change the final total. Confirm the current written service, inclusions, tax and availability with the provider before booking or publishing a current-price claim.
The listing record date describes the directory record. It does not prove when a provider last verified that individual price. Duplicate names and package variants remain separate when they are separate stored menu records.
How to cite and reuse the export
For a reproducible citation, name Seoul Beauty Trip as the dataset publisher, cite this research-page URL, identify the CSV or JSON distribution, include your access date and retain the canonical profile URL for any quoted row.
Describe the data as current provider-listed records accessed on that date, not as typical Seoul prices. Recheck the live export and provider profile before publication because active status and menus can change.
Download and cite the data
These files are provided for research, itinerary and editorial use. Keep the source and scope notes when reusing them.
Retain the source profile, scope note and access date. Describe rows as provider listings, not typical Seoul prices.
Frequently asked questions
Does this dataset report average Seoul beauty prices?
No. It contains individual provider-listed price strings and does not calculate averages, estimates, ranges or market-wide benchmarks.
Are the listed prices guaranteed?
No. Confirm the exact service, current written price, tax, inclusions, add-ons and availability with the provider.
What does unknown tax status mean?
The active price item did not explicitly store included or excluded status. The exporter does not guess.
Why can the download change?
It is generated from active directory records. Providers, menu items, active status and listing-record dates can change after an earlier access date.
